In a wider context it includes such things as eye retina scans, handwriting analysis, and even detecting habits and patterns of keystroke entry while someone is typing. For our purposes, Biometrics refers to the identification of an employee for tracking time-in and time-out, and is sometiimes used simultaneously for access control.
